Reminder: Halloween Parade TODAY, October 31, 2024
The Halloween Parade is TODAY, Thursday, October 31. TK/Kindergarten Parade at 8:30, parents may wait on the primary yard at 8:10-8:30am:
TK/K classes (Rooms 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11) will have a separate Halloween parade for families to see, on the Primary Yard. Families will exit the campus via the black gate after the parade.1st-5th Parade at 1:15
We will parade from the playground and on Williams Street.- parents who wish to attend as SPECTATORS can watch the parade from Williams and Wayne streets (1st through 5th grade)
-Families who plan to enter the campus must sign in
-Families must have made prior arrangements if they are entering classrooms on October 31
As you plan for Halloween, here are some guidelines and rules:
-TK-3rd students may come to school in their costumes. 4th and 5th grade students may not come to school in their costumes, but may change into their costumes during lunch. The restrooms will be available for changing clothes. Your child MUST be able to change into costume and/or use the restroom INDEPENDENTLY while in costume
Students may NOT bring any sort of gun, sword, or other weapon even if it is part of the costume. No bloody or violent costumes or masks, including dried blood (remember we have many young children on our campus)
-No masks may be worn during the school day
-Families who plan to enter the campus must sign in
-we will provide an alternate space and activity for students who do not wish to participate in Halloween activities
