Intervention and After School Programming

Eun-Sook Park is the Intervention Specialist and COST Coordinator at Jefferson Elementary.  The intervention room is located in Room 5.  Her extension number is 2805.  epark@slusd.us 

The Intervention Specialist supports all students at Jefferson who may have additional academic or behavioral needs.  1st-3rd grade students are specifically targeted for further intensive reading instruction.  The Intervention Specialist is also helping our students transition back to school after our break from in-person education due to covid. The Interventionist will be in classrooms supporting the teacher, pulling small groups and running social emotional learning groups at lunch and after school. She will work closely with the principal to monitor student achievement and support our students.
