Meeting to Finalize Plans for Black History Soul Food Dinner and Showcase
Hello Monroe Families,
This is principal McNeil.
We are doing our final planning for our Soul Food Dinner (taking place on February 27th, at 6pm, in the MPR.)
The sign ups for food will go home today. Please let us know what you can bring, by turning your paper into the office no later than Tuesday, Feb. 25th. The sooner you turn your paper in the better!
I accidentally left desserts off the sign up sheet, so if you would like to bring dessert, you can write that on the paper provided, and turn it in to the office. We will need lots of food to feed everyone, so I hope everyone can sign up and bring their favorite dishes.
Please stop by Monday, Feb. 24th, at drop off (8:15am) in the MPR for a quick final planning meeting for our event.
Remember we need lots of food, and we need support organizing and serving the food! Please attend our final planning meeting (or reply to this post) to let us know how you can help. Also, please make sure to turn in your paper to let us know what you will bring as soon as possible (you can bring it to the meeting on Monday, Feb. 24th.)
Don't forget there is no school next week, February 17th--21st for President's Week.
