Don't miss the opening reception of Self, Sky & Color on Sunday, March 30th, from 5–7 p.m. at Zocalo Coffeehouse, 645 Bancroft Avenue, San Leandro. Enjoy free hot chocolate, cookies, and charcuterie while exploring hundreds of original acrylic and watercolor artworks created by Beginning and Advanced Drawing & Painting students from San Leandro High School, instructed by Lee Rosenberg.

Presented by the San Leandro Art Association and Mary Beth Barloga, with special thanks to Javier Thistlethwaite and Emily Ritzo. Curated by Suzette McD and James Whitehouse.

The exhibition runs from March 23 to May 3, 2025, and features a vibrant two-part installation:

•  Part 1 (March 23 – April 20): monochromatic self-portraits and cloud studies
•  Part 2 (April 20 – May 3): abstract color tables, lemon paintings, and still-life color builds
