Senior Director Educational Services

Joanne Clark is the Senior Director of Educational Services for San Leandro Unified School District and has worked in SLUSD for the past eight years, serving in a variety of administrative capacities, including Director of Prevention & Intervention and Assistant Director of Teaching, Learning and Educational Equity.  With a career in education that spans two decades, her previous experience includes principal of a middle school and continuation high school, Common Core Coordinator, Title III Coordinator, and high school teacher.  She has her Master’s degree in Sports Psychology and Administrative Credential from John F. Kennedy University, and a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Chico.  Ms. Clark has a passion to expand Multi-tiered Integrated Intervention Support Systems for integrated academic and behavior support services for students in TK-12.  Her expertise includes supporting district-wide improvements in health and wellness programming and college and career readiness programs.
