Each SELPA has a Local Plan describing how it will provide special education services.  Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is one form of parent and community engagement that provides advice and recommendations to the SELPA for possible inclusion in the Local Plan. The CAC is composed of parents, teachers and community members https://www.slusd.us/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Jefferson-Bilingual-Night-Carousel-2.pngs who live and/or work within the SELPA region.
